1.
I wrote many essays in English. I remember one letter that
I wrote about my parents. One of what I have done, it was easy
to me because I could write my thinking to them about CMU
life, and feeling in here. However, sometimes I am difficult
to write essay because I need to write more my opinions and
information. I thought I wrote enough the essay, but when I
turned in my essay, I received grade and advice that was I
need to write more your opinions. I have to write more my
thinking in the paper. I want to know how to write essay
skill and how to divide off paragraphs.
2.
Yes, I do. When I went to university in Korea, I wrote some
reports. Professors wanted to turn in many reports in the
classes. The content of reports was concerned with the course
of classes.
3.
Yes, I still have kept a diary that wrote with my friend.
When I was middle school, I wrote some story of the school, my
diary, and secrets with my friend in the diary. The way was a
give and take. It is very important for me because it can give
good memories about the middle school, and I can feel
happiness when my childhood.
4.
I think the most important think from this class is writing
skill. I want to learn how to write more information and my
opinions. I also want to how to control and divide off
paragraphs. One more thing is how to use many kinds of clauses.

Most of your classmates have a similar weakness in their essays: they find it hard to give enough support. We will work on that this semester, but one of the easiest ways that often works is to talk about something from your own experience such as something that happened to you or even to someone you know. We will also work on making writing more sophisticated by using a variety of dependent clauses. Stay tuned!
